Traces of history in the collection of the Main Library of the Poznan University of Medical Science. Marks of provenance in early printed books, their past owners and their ties with the university

Abstract

The collection of early printed books held by the Main Library of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences is currently being catalogued. An important part of this process is provenance research. The article aims to present selected provenances of individuals and institutions connected with the history of the University and the origins of medical studies in Poznan.
