WUM.Publikacje database and its integration with campus-wide and outside information systems
Abstract
The article discusses local solutions applied in order to optimise processes related to the registration, recordkeeping, and reporting of data regarding publications by the university employees. The WUM.Publikacje database is key in this process, as it registers data about the publications by the employees of the Medical University of Warsaw, as well as connects to other systems which utilise data about the publications. The database is integrated with a handful of other systems, including campus-wide systems, such as the academic teachers evaluation system, the Rector’s award system, and the student grant system, as well as outside systems: ORCID, Polish Scientific Bibliography, and Web of Science.
