Abstract

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, libraries around the world had to choose which services to offer readers and how to provide them. It became necessary to impose restrictions, minimize face-to-face service and ensure safe handling of library materials while enabling users to satisfactorily access the information sources they needed. The aim of the article is to present how services in the Main Library of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin were modified immediately after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and in its subsequent stages, as well as to analyse changes in the library’s communication with users and their use of library resources.
