Summary: This article contains information on the selected medical publications, printed in 1611–1928, digitized by the Digital Library of the Medical University of Warsaw. The publications held in the Main Library as well as research centers and academic units of the Medical University of Warsaw are presented in a broad context – taking account of the content, historical background, biographies of the authors, as well as publishing and artistic issues.

Streszczenie: W pracy zaprezentowano wybrane wydawnictwa medyczne z lat 1611–1928 zdigitalizowane w ramach realizacji zadań Biblioteki Cyfrowej Warszawskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego. Obiekty pochodzące ze zbiorów Biblioteki Głównej i jednostek naukowo-dydaktycznych Warszawskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego ukazano w szerokim kontekście – pod uwagę wzięto treść publikacji, tło historyczne, biografie twórców, a także aspekty wydawnicze i artystyczne.
